Pour oil (not included) into hidden reservoir to fuel the cotton wick. The polished spherical basin softly reflects the flickering light, echoing the luminary extent of the flame.

Pour oil (can be purchsed here) into the lamp until nearly full. Insert the wick into the wick holder and place it into the lamp with the wick protruding approximately 4 mm. Excess oil can be wiped off. Allow the wick to soak for a few minutes before lighting it.
Use the wicks included, and subsequently similar (2mm) thick cotton wicks.
